Chapter 4. On ownership

The subject of consideration in this chapter is the right of ownership. In the first subsection the sources of this right are discussed. Locke’s theory of ownership and Menger’s theory of goods are the basis of these considerations. When combined, they become a clear justification for the exclusive right of ownership of the creator of each good. The findings from subsection one are used in subsection two to critically evaluate Christian doctrine on the universal purpose of goods.
